Nightstands use the same woods as the beds. The point is one tone for the set: birch with birch, oak with oak. The footprint stays small so a lamp and a drawer still fit.

Match height to the bed rail, not to the ceiling. A tall rail can sit above a lower cabinet. Samples are in the showroom.
